Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with Tillamook

TILLAMOOK, Ore., July 13, 2023 – Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) is thrilled to announce the addition of three new flavors to its extra creamy Premium Ice Cream lineup. Just in time for National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 16, these new scoops are guaranteed to delight ice cream enthusiasts across the nation. Tillamook continues to outperform competitors, solidifying its position as the third most popular family-sized ice cream brand in the country for 2023.1

Crafted with Care

Ian Moppert, Ice Cream Scientist at TCCA, explains the inspiration behind these new flavors, “We noticed a gap in our premium ice cream lineup and knew exactly how to fill it. Research indicated that nostalgia is a key ice cream trend for 2023. With consumers seeking reimagined classics, we developed these new flavors to leave our fans craving for more.” Moppert added, “Stay tuned for even more delicious surprises this upcoming holiday season!”

These new additions come at a time of significant growth for TCCA’s ice cream, which experienced a remarkable 35% increase in 2022. In a bid to further expand their reach and better serve Eastern states, the Oregon-based dairy co-op recently acquired its first ice cream manufacturing plant outside of Oregon, in Decatur, Illinois.

“At Tillamook, we pride ourselves on doing things the right way. Our ice cream, just like all our products, is made using only the highest quality ingredients. The difference is evident in every spoonful,” adds Moppert. “We refuse to take shortcuts. By using more cream, each bite becomes an exquisite, dreamy delight.”

Tillamook Ice Cream is readily available nationwide at popular retailers such as Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, and many other grocery stores. Locate a store near you at Tillamook.com/where-to-buy, and discover more about Tillamook at Tillamook.com.
