DURING his defamation trial with Amber Heard, an image of Johnny Depp “passing out” with ice cream dripping down his legs was exhibited to the court.

The actor said that his ex-wife manufactured the embarrassing photo after he returned home following a hard day of filming in Boston.

When another photo of what looks to be cocaine, booze, and tobacco was presented, Depp claimed he had “fallen off the waggon.”

The 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing Heard for £39 million after she claimed in a newspaper article that she was a victim of domestic violence.

She has countersued him for £77 million in retaliation for charges made by his lawyer about her.

Depp sits cross-legged on a leather sofa, supported up by a mishmash of cushions in the photo.

The actor is believed to be passed out with his lips open, wearing a shirt and braces.

Depp is seen clutching an ice cream container that has spilled all over his leg.

The melting ice cream has also created a sticky pool on the sofa and on the floor.

In his multi-million dollar US libel action against Heard, Johnny Depp also stated that she had “absolute hate” for him.

His marriage had devolved into “madness, anarchy, and violence,” he alleged.

He told the jury in Fairfax, Virginia, that Aquaman actress Amber Heard, 35, would lash out and physically assault him, saying, “It appeared like complete hatred for me.”

“If I continued to dispute, I was certain that it would develop into violence, as it frequently did.

“Miss Heard would strike out in her exasperation, hatred, and anger.”

“It may start with a slap, a shove, a TV remote thrown at my head, or a glass of wine thrown in my face, but it was always the same.”

He said in court last week that after she accused him of assault, he turned “from Cinderella to Quasimodo in 0.6 seconds.”

He accused Heard, 35, of blaming him for “very unsettling and horrible criminal conduct,” which he described as “extremely frightening and awful.”

In the blockbuster televised court case, he stated that he is “obsessed with the truth” and that bringing it to light will help him defend himself and his children.

“Through the relationship, there were disputes and things of that type,” Depp added, dressed in a black suit, black shirt, and floral print tie with his hair tied back into a ponytail.

“However, I have never hit Miss Heard in any manner, nor have I ever attacked any other lady in my life.”

“I felt it was terrible that my children would have to go to school and have their friends and classmates approach them with the famed People magazine cover featuring Miss Heard with a dark bruise on her face,” she said.

“Then it’s as simple as that.”

“I wanted to rid my children of this horrible stuff they were reading about their father that was completely false.”

Miss Heard wrote a piece for the Washington Post in 2018 in which she identified herself as a survivor of domestic abuse, which Depp believes damaged his career.

Despite the fact that the story did not identify him, he believes that it resulted in him losing his job as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates movie and being dropped from the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

The US trial is still going on.
