When we started creating the recipe for our Keto Pint ice cream, there were a few factors that we paid special attention to. Those elements played an important part in the recipe that we created for our Keto Pint flavors.

The Taste

There are already lots of other keto friendly ice creams on the market, however, we wanted to find a way to create a low-carb, high-fat ice cream that still tasted like ice cream — and that’s how Keto Pint was born!

We knew that taste is what makes some keto ice creams stand apart from others. Our peanut butter cup ice cream is made with gluten-free chocolate brownie bites while our mint chip ice cream has pure Oregon mint and our strawberry ice cream is made with fresh Oregon strawberries. Low-Carb

Since Keto Pint is a keto friendly ice cream (it’s even in the name), we needed a low-carb count for all of our flavors. Some of our competitors can have up to six net carbs per serving. To make our ice cream easier for people on the keto diet, all of our ice cream has as little as 2-4 net carbs per serving depending on the flavor. This makes it easier for consumers to enjoy full serving sizes while ensuring they stay in ketosis.

The Texture

Some keto ice creams are known for their hard and crumbly texture. When it came to Keto Pint, we paid attention to our formulations to achieve a texture that gives you a rich, creamy product. We do always recommend letting our products thaw for 20 minutes or to microwave for 25 seconds to achieve optimal creaminess.

Moderate Protein

When you’re on a keto diet, protein is also an important factor. We wanted to keep a moderate amount of protein in our ice cream. Right now, our flavors contain a protein content between 11 to 26 grams per pint — which is more than double the amount of our competitors!

High-Fat

While a keto diet is concentrated on a low-carb intake, you need a higher source of healthy fats for your body to source energy from. All of our Keto Pint ice creams have between 17-24 grams of fat per serving. When you look at our competitors, some of their keto friendly ice cream can have as low as 13 grams of total fat per serving. Our product ensures that you remain low carb without cheating you out of the important healthy fats you need to be in an optimal state of ketosis.
