- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter cups cut into quarters
How to make peanut butter cup ice cream at home
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla until blended and creamy. This should take about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Now add the cream and continue to beat until well blended.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into your electric ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Step 4
When the ice cream is almost completely set, stop the machine and add the chopped miniature peanut butter cups the cover and restart. Continue to churn until set.

It takes about 30 minutes for the ice cream to freeze in this Cuisinart Ice Cream maker.

You will have soft-serve ice cream when complete from your ice cream maker.
If you want more firm ice cream, pour the soft serve into a freezer-safe container, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
You don’t need a special ice cream container. Use your metal tube pan. Line it with plastic wrap, pour in the fresh-made ice cream, cover with plastic, and set into the freezer.
Makes about 1-quart liquid and about 1 ½ quart frozen.
